Academic Calendar
The academic year at Pitt begins with the Fall semester and ends with the Spring semester. Typically a yearlong study would begin with the Fall semester and end with the Spring semester. Exchange students studying for a year, starting first with the Spring semester and then finishing with the Fall semester will need to be sure to notify Pitt’s Study Abroad Office through their home institution’s exchange coordinator.
