Dr. Kristine Lalley became the Swanson School’s first Director of International Engineering Initiatives in August 2007. In this role, she collaborates with Swanson School faculty members to create international education opportunities for engineering students – including study abroad, international co-ops and internships, international service learning projects, and other research opportunities abroad. She also conducts research on learning processes in the context of international education programs. Within her career in higher education, Dr. Lalley has been focusing exclusively on engineering students since 1999, and enjoys supporting their unique and challenging educational goals. Dr. Lalley is the main point of contact for incoming engineering exchange students.
