With over 30 language offerings at Pitt, incoming students have the opportunity to experience the world in Pittsburgh. Students interested in taking a foreign language beyond the beginner level should consult the appropriate academic department’s website on how to be placed into the appropriate language level. All courses are taught in English. There are no pre-requisites required for any beginner-level course.
