The Student Health Service has many services to address your physical, mental and social health care needs. This includes a basic medical services, a pharmacy, immunizations as well as counseling. It is located on the first floor of Nordenberg Hall's Wellness Center.

The Student Toolkit is a curated list of services that will help students succeed in their undergraduate studies. This web resource links directly to the academic calendar, academic success workshops, course descriptions, forms, and peer tutoring. International students may be particularly interested in the academic success workshops which present on various skills, such as time management, stress management and study skills. Additionally, peer tutoring may also be a way to receive some additional academic assistance through another student's perspective. 

The Technology Help Desk, also known as Computing Services and Systems Development (CSSD), is the central IT organization for the University of Pittsburgh. CSSD provides innovative information technology services to support learning, teaching, research, and business functions. For incoming students, CSSD may help troubleshoot any issues related to Pitt Passport (my.pitt.edu) account activation and email and on student-targeted software initiatives. Students may contact CSSD by telephone, Live Chat or email, 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The University Center for International Studies (UCIS) is the larger umbrella organization at Pitt that houses both the Study Abroad Office (SAO) and the Office of International Services (OIS), as well as a number of regional studies centers.  These regional centers include: African StudiesAsian StudiesLatin American StudiesRussian and East European StudiesEuropean Studies, and Global Studies.  Not only may students refer to the individual centers for academic courses related to the geographic area of interest but also for potential research opportunities, special programs and events, and community connections such as student organizations and clubs.

The Urbanist Guide Pittsburgh is a beautifully curated, free local guide about the city designed for both locals and tourists. It features points of interests related to food, dining, drinks, art and culture. Pittsburgh is one of two cities with an Urbanist guide. The online guide also lists a calendar of events happening within Pittsburgh, including festivals, shows and concerts.

VisitPITTSBURGH is the official tourism promotion agency for Allegheny County. Established in 1935, VisitPittsburgh is dedicated to generating convention, trade show and leisure travel business for the Pittsburgh region. VisitPITTSBURGH is a non-profit organization serving its business membership.

The Writing Center provides a place for all University of Pittsburgh students to come to work on their writing. The Center is staffed by experienced consultants who have been trained to help others with their writing. They can help you with conventional or digital projects. The services are free to all University of Pittsburgh affiliates.
