Wonderful experience of Pittsburgh

Staying two semesters in Pittsbrugh was truly an unforgettable experience. Pittsburgh, the city itself, is beautiful  surrounded with rivers and full of lively events such as Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates game. University of Pittsburgh is also wonderful that is has Schenley park near the campus and the most beautiful "Cathy". All of the students are bright and sparkling and willing to give help to students like me, who didn't know what to do.

When I first came to the campus I was impressed because it was more beautiful than I thought, also my dorm was Panther Hall and the hill was very impressive too, it was steeper than I thought. But, everyday walking up the hill was a great exercise and if I'm not in a mood of walking there was always the Pitt shuttle waiting for me. The students in Pitt are always working out. In my home country, South Korea, students don't work out that much but in Pitt almost 70-80% of the students seem to be working out daily. It was a great motivation and I also tried to work out daily, which I think actually helped me not to be sick. Pitt is strong in biology, and all of the classes I've taken were amazing. However the best classes were the PE classes. I wanted to experience the "real" work out so I've took the personal training class in Petersen and it was wonderful. In addition, I've took two swimming classes and those were also splendid because the swimming pool in Pitt is huge and sometimes we can see the diving team practicing which is a spectacular experience. There are lots of good dining places near the campus and also some are near downtown where we can go with the "free" bus using our Pitt ID. Talking about the Pitt ID, there are so many things we can do using the Pitt ID. We can take the Pittsburgh bus for free, we can visit most of the museums in Pittsburgh for free and the famous sightseeing spot, Duquesne incline, is also free.

I'm beyond happy that I could have experienced the life in Pittsburgh. I would never forget the beautiful memories I've made in Pitt and thank you Jessica for being such a great host of Pittsburgh.
